It may not answer your question but, yes, you can connect your EQ6-R to the ASIAIR via USB. The Eq-mod cable is an old cable that was advantageously replaced by the USB on newer mounts.
Now, if you want to use the HC along with the ASIAIR, you can still connect it through the SynScan port on your mount. Not sure what’s the benefit though. To me, “The less cable snagging/dragging risks, the better! ” , that’s my leitmotiv.
