Developing a mount by synchronizing two motors: one on the RA lever and another on the AltAZ thread and the PA function of the AsiAir would send pulses to those two motors that would move the mount in both axes, centering the mount to the exact NCP. This mechanism would be inside the wedge, offering a cleaner, threadless design. A new instruction for a module installed in the frame could be incorporated within the AsiAir PA that would control the voltage to move three different types of weight: low, med, high. towards the NCP.

Thanks for this post, I was unaware of this universal module. Although these from ZWO could surprise us by including it in one of their models, maybe some AM8? 😅😅

Avalon Instruments makes one that will work with any mount (and almost costs as much as the mount)

Don't really see the point of it. If you are on a permanent pier you only need to do PA once. Otherwise, the whole process takes like 5 minutes.
