New ASI1600GT Temperature Sensor Not Working

Hello All,

I recently got a new ZWO ASI1600GT camera to add to my telescope. I tried taking my dark calibration images using ASIImg, but the software keeps reporting the camera's temperature as 0 degrees Celsius. The ambient temperature in my house is 22 degrees Celsius.

I tried cooling my camera, and while the cooling system turned on properly, the "reported" temperature stayed at 0. I tried with an external software (NINA), yet the result stays the same.

Why is this happening and how can I fix this problem?

Arushi_N If so your camera may needs to be shipped back for repair.

You provided a possible solution. Would that work in my case with the ZWO ASI1600GT? Would there be any modifications to the steps since my camera has an in-built filterwheel?

Arushi_N It should works, but may only solve the problem temporarily.
Just in case, it is better to ship back for repair.
