I have been experimenting with getting the most reliable WiFi connection between ASIAir Plus and my iOS device. I have had the WiFi drop after a meridian flip so antenna orientation is a factor. I have come across threads where users have relocated the antenna to a fixed point on the tripod using a 2-3 ft SMA cable. I would like to know if its safe to do that or whether it could create SWR concerns that could damage the ASIAir Plus. I am not a radio expert but I know I always tuned the SWR on a CB radio antenna so I am wondering is a similar concern applies here.
