This evening while imaging M78 using NINA, I had an issue with the meridian flip. I worry about the cables getting caught during the flip and so I make a point of being present when the automatic slewing takes place. It was fortunate that I was this time as the mount started making a loud slipping noise with the RA axis no longer moving. I immediately powered down the mount, stopped the imaging sequence and then powered the mount back up. I was able to slew it back up towards the home position.
After slewing in RA back and forth a few times, it all seems to be working properly now, but I suspect the belt needs adjusting. I also need to recalibrate my home position as it is now slightly off. Anyone else have something similar happen?
