I didn't seem to get much detail out of this one think i used to much gain for luminance subs.

My second ever astro image

Camera ZWO Asi 120mm-s

ZWO LRGB filters and ZWO filter wheel

Scope lxd75-8SN

Mount EQ-6pro

no guiding

30x20 sec of each colour RGB subs 65 gain

100x10 sec of Lum at 70 gain

stacked in dss using Fit files

processed in photoshop

Hi Flugel88

Lovely picture of one of my favourite Messier objects. I have not yet tried any Deep sky imaging with my ASI 120MC yet as I am just learning and tweaking it as lunar and guide camera.

Just wondering what program you are using to capture it the images with, Fire Capture?

Yeah M16 is one of my favorites too.

All though the field of view is small for the asi120mm m16 makes a nice target.

I use firecapture for my pix and it works great even though i dont have a USB 3 port on my old laptop it handles it ok.

I have been doing all my images using FIT Format and stacking with Deep sky Stacker using default settings.
