Hello,
I've tuned my mount with an Onstep controller. Everything works fine except the meridian flip. When the menu for the flip appears, the mount moves a bit in the right direction and then returns to the position before the menu appeared. After that, a plate solve is performed, and the ASI Air indicates that the flip has failed and will try again. This cycle repeats.
When I stop the flip and the autorun, I use the arrow keys to bring the mount to the other pier side. Then, I perform a Goto, and the mount centers the object. After this, I can restart the autorun.
It's not a problem for me to perform the flip manually while I'm observing visually. However, I often prefer to leave the setup alone outside and go to bed because I have to work the next day. Therefore, an automatic flip would be nice.
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Thanks!
Greetings,
Brian
