i use nexstar SLT mount connect to asiair mini and use goto in phone application. my mount is moveing but it not go to the star that I choose. does i need guiding camera ? In the app it says "mount slews to target position" but i can't "validate centered or not" (sorry for my grammar )
If you have polar aligned, you can point your telescope at some stars, plate solve and sync the mount, then goto should work.
Goto do not need the guide camera, but if you enable the auto-center option, it needs a main camera for verification. And Celestron mounts should finish a fast/One star align before connection.
