Camara shows square pattern

I have a ASI120MC which I am very happy with. However when I take a video in 1280 x 960

in mono there appears a pattern of small squares all over the image. In RGB this does not appear.

Also in 640x480 it can also appear but not if Bin2 is set. In the higher resolution mode by playing around with exposure etc the pattern can change to lines. My question is, is there some way to avoid this pattern in Hi res setting. What is odd is when I look at the image while taking the video I see no pattern. Then when using a media player or registax there it is.

Color camera can't do mono. What you see as mono is non-debayered color image (so that you can do that later with algorithm of choice in some apps, like FC debayer app). Plain bin2 kills the color information so there is no Bayer pattern on the "mono" image.
