I stacked a solar video file using ASIVideoStack (latest version) and created a .FIT file output. I am having trouble viewing it properly in anything but ASIFitsView. In looking at the FITS header using FITS Liberator, this is what it says:
SIMPLE = T / file does conform to FITS standard
BITPIX = 16 / number of bits per data pixel
NAXIS = 2 / number of data axes
NAXIS1 = 480 / length of data axis 1
NAXIS2 = 360 / length of data axis 2
EXTEND = T / FITS dataset may contain extensions
COMMENT FITS (Flexible Image Transport System) format is defined in 'Astronomy
COMMENT and Astrophysics', volume 376, page 359; bibcode: 2001A&A...376..359H
BZERO = 32768 / offset data range to that of unsigned short
BSCALE = 1 / default scaling factor
SWCREATE= 'ASIVideoStack' / Name of software that created the image
SWOWNER = 'ZWO ' / Licensed owner of software
DATE-OBS= '2024-01-31T02:37:31.894' / UTC start date of observation
DATE-STA= '2024-01-31T02:37:31.894' / UTC start date of exposure
DATE-END= '2019-03-07T07:50:41.022' / UTC end date of exposure
INVERT = 1 / Invert
PB = 1. / Brightness
PC = 1. / Contrast
PERCENT = 50 / Planetary Stack Percent
PN = 63 / Noise Reduction
PS = 1 / Saturation
SHARPEN = '23, ' / Planetary Stack Sharpen parameter
SUNCOLOR= 1 / Sun Color
VSBAYER = 4 / 0:RG 1:BG 2:GR 3:GB 4:NONE
VSTYPE = 3 / 2😛lanet 3:Surface
The Bayer pattern code is "4" (None). Also normally the Bayer pattern code is four characters. The original .AVI file has a Bayer pattern code of "RG". How can these files be processed by other software if they are not properly coded. I am using iOS v1.9.2, ASIAIR v9.97. Has this been fixed in the latest release.
