Last night was the 3rd night in a row ive been able to image under clear skies. Night 1&2 asi air plus performed flawless
Last night I had problems and could not image.
My setup:
Asi air plus
Celestron CGE
Asi 2600mc aa+ via usb 3 and 12v
Asi 290mm connected to asi2600 usb port
Eaf direct aa+ usb and 12v
Svbony 5v dew heaters x2. Powered via a 12v to 5v adapter.
Last night I resumed day 3 of imaging on my porch. I powered up and checked polar alignment, it was good. I then slewed to a south east star. It would goto the star but not center the star, it would plate solve and recenter over snd over and fail. If I turned off auto center it got the star on the screen but would not center.
This is a big issue because it meant I could not plate solve the image of orion from the prior nights to resume imaging.
I finally manually slewed and aligned orion. Which was a bandaid fix.
I immediately noticed another issue when initiating an autorun. My 600s exposures were coming over very attenuated looking. It was like my 600s exposure was only 10s. There was significant horizontal banding.
I was unable to effectively plate solve any further last night. The prior evenings to this everything worked.
I have to idea what to troubleshoot at this point.
What i have done to troubleshoot:
Delete asi air ap and reinstall
Re polar align
Reset celestron cge and complete a quick align
Turned off dew heaters and eaf
Unplugged asi290
All of my usb cables are shielded startech cables. My power cable is on a 15amp power block using an 18awg custom cable
