Apparently there is a proper way the V-curve should look like, however, for some reason i am getting this:
I am using the EAF on my Askar FRA400, 533MC Pro camera with a Baader UV/IR cut filter, and no reducer. (with the reducer the V-curve is even worse).
I first try to focus manually using the slow setting, to get the stars as sharp as i can, and then i try to run the AF routine. The AF step size is set it to 10, and the exposure time to 1-5s. I tried different exposure times but didn't get any improvements. However, after taking some test exposures i noticed that stars are sharp anyway. Not sure how to proceed.
