ASIAIR Mini won't turn on or connect to computer

During my imaging session last night, my ASIAIR Mini disconnected all of a sudden and wouldn’t turn on when I tried replugging the power cable. The WiFi indicator is off, SYS was blinking and PWR was steady so I assumed it was powered, but I didn’t hear the beep. And the reset button also didn’t work.

It was pretty cold last night so I thought this might be a temperature thing. But when I tried to connect it to my Mac to get my subs out, it’s still not turning on. Same thing with WiFi off, SYS blinking, PWR steady and no beep. And reset still doesn’t work.

Does anyone know what might be the issue? And if there’s a way to hard reboot the device?

Did you check your power supply? Try a different power supply.

You can also try the following (no guarantees):

Get a usb a to ethernet adapter and plug it into the USB port on the mini.

Plug the ethernet cable into a/ the router that has the network to which your computer / device running the ASIAIR App connects.

Turn on ASIAIR, give it a few minutes.

Go to device. Make sure it's on the correct network. Launch ASIAIR App. See if it finds the ASIAIR .

If it doesn't - go to your router admin page and see if you can find the IP address it allocated to the ASIAIR.

Use that IP address and connect via IP on ASIAIR App to see if it works.

Corsair so I tried to connect the air using an ethernet cable to my router, and it's detecting the device, and it doesn't show up as a connected device in my router admin portal so I can't even get the IP address 🙁 do you think this might actually be an internal issue like a blown fuse?

I have a similar problem, the power turns on, the wifi led turns on, the sys led flashes, but I can't connect the app with asiair mini, the app is blocked and the wheel is spinning in a loop. what can I do.

a mi me pasa algo parecido, se enciende el power, se enciente led wifi, el led sys parpadea, pero no consigo conectar app con asiair mini, se bloquea la app y se queda la ruedada dando bueltas en bucle. que puedo hacer.

I don't know what happened but it has solved itself, it is working properly again

no se que ha pasado pero se ha solucianado solo, ya vuelve a trabajar correctamente

On your router admin page when it shows connected devices via Ethernet - does it not show MAC address for the Mini (I think this is printed on the bottom of the Mini....) or a MAC address not linked to any other device on your network so it - by process of elimination - could be the Mini?

Have you tried a different 12V 5A power supply for the mini?

You may need to log a support ticket for this.

I know the ASIAIR really doesn't like it when it's not shut down properly via the app. So it's possible the OS on the Mini itself has been corrupted.
