ASI Air Mini or Plus with a ASI2600 Duo

Hello i am new to astrophotography and and purchasing my first setup. I am purchasing a Celestron AVX C8 SCT. I want to pair it with a ASI 2600 DUO. I was wondering if a mini would be okay or would i need a plus? I have seen discussions about connection issues with the AVX. Any help would be appreciated.

The 2600MC Duo needs for optimum performane one USB 3.0 port but the ASIAIR mini has only USB 2.0 ports. It works, but with lower transfer rate.
