I have read several post where you have given answers - all I have tried but I am not getting the results from the camera I expected. I still think it is a software or computer hardware problem.
I have an older MAC BOOK PRO and a new IMAC. I plan to use the MAC BOOK Pro so I can take it with me in the field. I also run VMware which allows me to run Windows XP. Unfortunately XP is no longer supported by Windows and .NetFrame 2.0 is required for one of your recommended software programs.....and the driver (even the updated one from the ZWO website) just gives me a "Black Screen"
So I searched for a MAC software program and so where you recommended "oaCapture" I did install the software and it does work but the picture that is rendered by the camera is extremely blurry....you can barely make out what is being seen.
Help! Is there other software that can run this camera? Is oaCapture something that should be producing a better than blurry picture - is that something that focusing (when added to the telescope) will render a sharp image?
Help and thanks for any advice you can give. By the way, I am a professional photographer but a beginning astrophotographer....and this camera is nothing like my Nikon's as you are aware.
