I am experiencing strange behavior that I had not seen in prior sessions. And this is before and after the last firmware update. I saw it last night before the update and then tonight after the update. I followed Kai’s video on YouTube to perform horizontal calibration. I calibrate the compass and level the scope. I manually slew the scope in stargazing mode to a clear area of the sky. Previously, the mount began tracking immediately and I was able to autofocus. Now, the mount does not track and so it is impossible to autofocus. I proceed to goto a bright star in the clear area. Previously, the star would be dead center but now not so much. I don’t understand what’s going on. I have been following the same procedure as before but not getting the same results as before. After these initial issues, the scope does seem to track and center subsequent targets. If anyone has an explanation for these changes, I would appreciate their help. As mentioned, this behavior was present before and after the latest update. Thank you. Gordon
