ZWO ASI662MC 2.1 and solar imaging.

First of all I am beginner. I have the ZWO ASI662MC 2.1. My telescope is a Celestron Nexstar 8. I use Sharpcap. I have been able to do imaging of the moon and Jupiter but have not been able to get imaging of the sun. Any tips on settings? Low exposure and low gain to start. I see nothing. One video I watched said the sun is the easiest thing to see.

I assume you are using a white light filter of some sort.
When you say you see nothing, is the image totally dark? It could be you are not lined up with the Sun.
Are you using the same focus point you used for the Moon?
You would need an exposure in the microseconds. I recently did a solar image with the ASI662 on a 40mm guide scope and I had to set the exposure down to under 800us. You would probably need to be lower than that. If you are overexposed, you would not be able to get good focus.
