Hi, I intend to image the Sun, when the skies are clear enough, but my problem is focus. I looked at some data from a previous session and found none of it was a good enough focus. I used the focus guide in various software’s but although at the time everything seemed OK but when I came to processing my data was awful. What is the best way to focus, it’s no good trying a bhatinov mask as there are no bright stars in the day. I tried using the rim of the Sun and got that nice and sharp but the surface left a bit to be desired. Any ideas please.
