The Seestar does a pretty good job of stacking itself IMO. However, if you want more control, I would suggest trying Siril / Starnet2 / GraXpert / NoiseXterminator etc and stacking / processing that way before using Photoshop for final touch ups. Having noted that, it gets down to how much spare time you have vs how much better the results are using a longer post processing method. I like Siril etc, but can see that the Seestar internal stacking would be fine if you were time constrained. I've read that the Seestar also allows you to do a manual stack (ie. hand pick your own subs) to have a little more control over things.
