Making custom observing list - a big problem

In order to make a custom observing list with the ASIAIR app, your phone/tablet must be connected to the ASIAIR wi-fi hotspot. The app will not get past the 'connect to wifi page'.

this means you can't make the list in the comfort of your home, in the daytime, with your books and reference material at hand.. You must do it 'at the telescope'. Or disconnect the ASIAIR, bring it into the house along with the power wire and a 12vdc power supply....

Clumsy. Inconvenient. Poorly thought out.

Yup.

That said, my gear lives in the house when it is not in use so it isn’t a huge issue to take it from its storage case and plug it in.
