Hoping someone here can help, I'm at my wits end and ready to return the S50. I can connect to the Seestar S50 just fine (over direct wifi and station mode), I can manually move the scope, I can make the scope move around hunting for objects just fine. All good, so far.
But nothing appears on my device screen in preview, or when I click the photo/video button. Just black. I do get the controls for the different functions and the Seestar responds to those, but no darn image! I have tried adjusting brightness, checked there's no obstruction over the lens. I've tried turning off mobile data, and using a tablet with no cell service, I've tried a different wifi network, tried switching from 5GHz to 2.4GHz but the result is the same: they connect and move the scope fine but no image.
Please tell me this is user error and there's an easy fix.
