Hi, The Seestar is an alt-az setup, it automatically plate solves on start-up and then allows goto's to objects in its catalog. Why can't you build the same functionality into the AsiAir when controlling an AM5 (with attached scope and camera) mount in alt-az mode. This would be far easier to use rather than the available 1 or multi star alignment routines?
