This is the kind of thing that exasperates me; a device is working one moment, and then a few days later, having changed nothing, is no longer working. I don't understand this sort of thing as it seems like the rules change for no reason.
I have two computers - observatory PC (AMD running Win7 64 Home) and microscopy PC (Intel running Win7 64 Home Premium). Camera (ASI120MM) was bought a fortnight ago, and drivers installed on both computers as per ZWO instructions.
Observatory PC was running camera fine all week and has now started acting up in FireCapture. SharpCap runs in preview but crashes as soon as a capture is actually started. AMCap works fine, but is pointless as I want to capture stills not video.
Microscopy PC was also running the camera fine in SharpCap, but never tried FireCapture. SharpCap has developed the same problem as the Obsy PC (crashes when capture is started). FireCapture is now installed but can't even see the camera at all (drivers and Java are still installed). AMCap gives error code 80040209 and also doesn't work.
Help please!
