Hi All, DST once again here in Daytona Beach Florida. Been going thru all the articles here and online and sent to support tickets to ZWO with no response. I am using an ASIAIR Plus to control my AM5 mount. The other night I was out and Shot 3 hours of data on the Jellyfish to find out that when I processed it I had 3 hours of nothing. Figure something is out of sync once again. I ran into this problem same time about a yea ago. Problem is I do not remember what I did to straighten it out as well as what to do when we get out of DST agin. Going to have to take some notes this time. I did get the popup on ASIAIR Plus telling me to make sure DST is disabled on HC. I can not figure out how to do that. Can't find it anywhere. I am using my Mac iPad with the ASIR as well. On the forum here it mentions to check the Lat/Long and UTC on the mount. Currently on my ASI Mount settings it is showing correct Lat/Long and UTC-04:0. I don't know for sure if that is where I need to be or not and even how to change that if needed. It also mentions on that popup that it is normal that the time on the mount is 1 hour earlier than your local time. When is that? EST or DST? Any help in matters greatly appreciated. Is there any simple way to get everything where it is supposed to be so I can get up and running? The other night was almost a disaster. When I did a GO TO it did drive my scope into the legs on the tripod. I don't know if I damaged any thing with the AM5 or not. It seemed to bind like 3 times before the mount shut down itself. This thing was shewing fast. Had no time for anything. I looked on time and date and for Daytona Beach Florida and it says my EST UTC-5h, EDT UTC-4h. So what time should be on my AM5? Right now it is saying UTC-4:0. On my ASIAIR Plus it has the right Lat/Long, correct date and shows my correct local time now. I do not know if I am good to go?
Thanks, John
