Hello everyone! If you didn't hear already, a supernova was recently discovered on April 11th, 2024 in galaxy NGC 3621 (https://theskylive.com/supernova-2024ggi). And after seeing a Seestar user post their images of it on AstroNet, I decided to try and image it myself with my Seestar. Despite the galaxy being low on the horizon from my location, I managed to capture it on 2 separate nights.
I've attached unlabeled and labeled versions below so you can see where it is located in the galaxy. And if you've taken any images of the supernova yourself, please feel free to share them here! It will be interesting to see how long the supernova stays bright enough to be imaged by Seestar before it begins fading, although for now, it's easy to find when imaging the galaxy.

You can also see my images of the supernova in this video I just released at around the 2:18 mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faiUxlhGmrU&t=138s.
