I now connect my ASIair mini to my Celestron Evolution AZ mount. I use it for solar astronomy either with a Lunt solar wedge for white light, or with a Quark Chromosphere for Ha. I then of course use either 432MM or a 174 MM camera for the imaging.

One issue is that in white light the minimum exposure setting is 0.001 and even with minimum gain it is very hard to get an exposure set. I also use a solar constrast boost filter in white light.

On an update could you please offer faster exposure?

Preview mode will not work for solar. You need to use Video mode.

I cannot see how I can adjust the exposure times in video mode.

Video Mode has a slider that allows you to adjust exposure, gain, and white balance. There is also settings which you can choose milliseconds (the default) or microseconds.
