Hello everyone. I’m seriously thinking about getting an Apertura battery as the Jackery one I’ve got is quite a few years old but it (the Apertura) does not have a cigarette type connector, at least I cannot see one one the pics I’ve looked at. I’m no good at making the right choice when it comes to cables, so I’m looking for guidance as to which cable I need that has a usb connector to my AM5 mount. Anyone advise please.
Hi, You can't use an USB port to power up the AM5. You need a 12V power out port on your battery.
The cable to the AM5 is an 5.5/2.1mm center pole positive DC connector.
AM5 power requirements: 12V (11V - 15V), 3 Amp

Thanks for the reply. The cable I use now has a cigarette type connector on the end that goes into the battery but I need to purchase a new battery so I’m looking at the Apertura which does not have a cigarette type connector, it has a few other type of connectors including usb. Which connector should I use?
