Hi all. I have the ZWO ASI120MC that I use for planetary imaging with my C8. I recently bought a filter wheel and LRGB filters in anticipation of swapping out for the ASI120MM.
I was wondering what would happen if I put my color cam in mono mode and used the filter wheel. Would I get better results with a combined 60sec R, G, and B video vs a 180sec color video? Is it worth the trouble? And how would it compare to the same thing in the mono cam?
Also, how would I go about doing this in FireCapture?
