Is there/should there be a fully manual mode on the Seestar s50? I’ve just recently purchased a Seestar, it’s proven to be an amazing tool, providing more detail than I thought was possible in my light polluted area.
When using the stargazing mode, I’ve realized I have a bit more manual control than on solar or lunar modes.
For example, I’d like to stack some lunar images, but there seems to only be a video option in lunar mode.
(also does anyone know of any good video frame separators for stacking from video?)
I also wonder if an option to have more control in the “adjust” button, like an option for exposure instead of just the brightness.
Exposure control would be nice because I’ve tried to image some small objects that get super overexposed quickly, even at minimum brightness, such as the Cat’s Eye Nebula (Although now that I think of it, I wonder if planetary imaging may be a better mode for that kind of thing, idk I haven’t really experimented in that mode yet)
In any case, this is coming from a relatively low level amateur, so let me know if these features would be unnecessary or if any workarounds already exist. Thanks!
