FireCapture v2.3 Not finding ASI120MC-S

I have an HP DV6 Laptop, running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1.

Firecapture v2.3 (newest) claims it can not start camera.

I have tried rebooting and trying several USB ports same error.

the ASI120MC-S is new only 2 weeks old.

ASI120MC-S_Setup V1.1 was used to install the driver(s).

The camera works GREAT in AMCAP.

PHD-2 Also finds and displays the camera.

SharpCap 1.5.3 finds and runs the camera good also.

Ok, I have downloaded the BETA Firecapture and it does seem to be working.

FYI the beta software on the CD that came with my camera seems corrupt, might be a bad burn of the disk. The link that points to the 'current version' of course gives you the current version which does not work with this camera at the time of this posting.

sorry about the bad CD, only FC2.4 beta works

or you need copy the asicamera.dll from 2.4 to 2.3
