AM3 for Takahashi FSQ106 Fluorite

Hi all,
I have a Takahashi refractor FSQ106 fluorite and I use it on an old mount Vixen.
I am interested with the AM3 because of its weight, less than 4kgs to use it out of my home. Especially on holliday.
I just want a small mount for the weight to travel with it.
My question is, do you think that AM3 can support FSQ106 ( about 8kgs max with ASI 1600, ASI120 and filter box) or a new newton scope with 152mm diameter and F/D4 so a short scope with carbon tube.
I know that AM5 would be better but that is heavier.

If a read the load capacity, I think that is OK but Could you give me your opinion ?

I also have the FSQ106 and the AM3, and I would like to know. Have you already tested this configuration?

Hi Luiz,

Yes I have tested them.
AM3 mount can support FSQ106 without problem.
FSQ106 with ASI1600 and drawer filter and ASI120mini for guiding have a weight of 8kgs.
I have used a small counterweight (2,4kgs) and the RMS error of guiding was 30 arc second.

That is fantastic! I have only used the AM3 with my small 65PHQ refractor. I will give it a try with the FSQ106.
