Is there a way to have internet while using ASIAir WiFi

When using the ASIAir, I connect my Galaxy S23 to the ASIAir WiFi. This network obviously has no internet connection, but the app works fine without.
However, I have seen several YT videos of people getting the 'calculating global rank' results after Polar Alignment. For me, that screen just gets stuck. I figure you need internet connection to get these results, so now I am wondering if there is a smartphone setting so that even when you connect to the ASIAir WiFi, you can still use your cellular data?

tomstein if you’re at home, you could connect the ASIAir to the same WiFi your phone is connected (considering it provides internet access), then ASIAir could load the ranking data.

Thanks. Unfortunately I have to image far from home, so home WiFi is no option. I am wondering if I am missing something or if all users who actually use the ASIAir away from home basically never manage to have internet access at the same time as being connected to the unit.

If your iPad does not have cellular capability (lots of people shortchange themselves by picking tablets that are crippled), and if there are cell towers nearby, just get a Mobile hotspot and use that as your "network," making it the router for the ASIAIR in station mode. Connect your iPad to it also. Your iPad then has access to the internet, and to the ASIAIR.

Nice thing is you can test all this at home.
