I have thoughts of using my new Seestar to record a video of satellites and rocket launches briefly going through the Seestar field of view or look for Jupiter and Venus during the day if they are not close to the sun. I'll know from doing calculations an azimuth and elevation point that the object should be going by.

I'd like to see in Scenery, a feature that allows me to input an elevation figure for the Seestar to point to and have a readout of the azimuth the Seestar thinks it is pointed to, so I can rotate the tripod to make the azimuth I need match the azimuth the Seestar thinks it is pointed to since the sky might not be dark enough to do a positioning calibration.

sthscan You can goto the target in Stat Atlas and then back to Shooting mode to take the images.
Note: Make sure the solar filter is installed to avoid the sensor damage during goto.
