OSC yields grey-scale image

My 2600MC-duo camera, controlled by NINA, generates greyscale images.
The bayer pattern is set to RGGB (but I also tried Auto, makes no differnce)

Under Image Options I tried both Debayer ON and Debayer OFF (no difference)

Save as FITS or TIFF again no difference.
My driver is ZWO_Cameras_driver_3.24.0.0

I assume I have a wrong setting in NINA, but I may be wrong.

It is 100% normal to get greyscale images with your camera. Nina (or the Asiair) won't debayer your images because you need CFA images (i.e. greyscale) for calibration.
it is the role of the stacking software to convert the images to RGB
The usual process is as follow:
Calibration>Debayering>Registration>Stacking
