I have a V1 Air that has worked well until I just made the jump to a dedicated astro camera... I went ZWO hoping things would all play nicely - which they are not.
Setup:
ASI Air plugged into 120v wall plug
ASI 2600mc plugged into jackery
USB cable from Air to 2600mc
Prior to enabling the 2600 in the air, but with all plugs plugged in and powered, the fan spins and the red light on the back of the 2600 is lit up.
As soon as I enable the 2600 in the Air, the red light on the back of the 2600 turns off and the fan turns off. No matter what settings I play with in the Air, the light stays off and the fan never turns back on until I power cycle the 2600. Once I enable the camera in the Air agin, same results, red LED turns off along with the fan.
My Jackery battery reports the 2600 pulling about 10 watts of power with the cooler and dew heater on while not exposing any images.
Using my Fluke multimeter, I read the 12v output at 12.8v (with no load... can't measure it with the camera load unfortunatley but I assume with only a 10 watt draw, the voltage doesn't change much).
The kicker is, when I use NINA on my PC, it works as expected and the fan runs while cooling. This tells me its a bug with the ASI Air. Has anyone else experinced this? How do I go about resolving this, short of buying a new ASI since this one does everything I need it to...
