Just an aside - Remote Access can be achieved by connecting the ASIAIR via Ethernet to a router such as a travel router.
I've tested this myself by connecting the ASIAIR to a GL.iNET MT-3000 Travel Router (no need to enable Station Mode). I have my GL.iNET MT-3000 Travel router connected to my home Wi-Fi network (which is connected to the Internet).
I then set up a VPN on the Travel Router and set up port forwarding on the Home Wi-Fi router to allow for remote access to the ASIAIR. You could also simply set up the VPN on the Home Wi-Fi Router (which may mean there would be no need to do any port forwarding).
Installed the appropriate VPN app on my phone.
Then, with my phone connected to the mobile network (not my home WiFi), I started up the VPN app and connected to the VPN running on the Travel Router. I could then start up the ASIAIR App and connect to the ASIAIR (which was on of course).
I can't see the ASIAIR having the system specs to be have built-in remote access to allow for remote connection when connected to another network (either via Station Mode or via Ethernet cable) with Internet access.
