Hello,
I have two ZWO cameras; an ASI385MC and ASI174MM and would like to use either for autoguiding using the ST-4 that each have. However, my mount is a Losmandy G11 with Gemini 1 GoTo bought in 2001 and doesn't have a ST-4 compatible autoguiding port. It is similar but the Common pin is high (+5V) and the direction pins are 0V. I gather this is the reverse of the ST-4 (Common is 0V and direction pins are pulled high ,+5V). Therefore I will need some kind of invertor to connect the camera to the mount and really need to know the camera output circuit on the ST-4 port to design something. Does the attached represent the output circuit?
Thanks
Camera ST-4 Autoguiding port
Is the Common pin connected to all the transistor Emitters and the Direction pins to the individual Collectors as shown in the circuit above?
Thanks.
Thank you for clarify!
