Power cable for 2600 mc pro camera

Hi , I need to purchase a power cable for my zwo2600 mc camera as I understand the camera requires its own power source therefore I will be using my PNY power bank battery, to do this I need a cable that has the correct connection to go into the camera and on the other end a usb connection for the battery. Can anyone suggest a reliable cable and is there a risk of damaging the camera powering it this way?

Is your power bank 12v. From USB supply probably only 5v

You will not damage the camera with 12v from the power bank. What type of usb outlet is on the power bank? ZWO spec for the 2600mc pro is 12v 3A. You need to check specs on your power bank to see if the usb outlet is capable of this. If not camera may not run correctly.

I don’t believe the powerbank do 12v on USB.
The USB standard is 5v output.
Otherwise this powerbank would fry any device which use USB. (5v in)

If this powerbank is DIY and you build in an usual USB connector it’s also a bad idea, only USB gen2 allow 3A max.
Change output connector to the usual low power connectors as you have at your camera.

Maibe charging is 12v, but never the output due to the above reasons.

PowerBanks that support USB PD (power delivery) can be triggered to output 12V. This small Anker power bank claims 12V PD support on one of its USB-A ports:

RainbowAstro even has a video that shows the use of these portable power banks to run the RST-135 with a 15V trigger cable (the RST-135 is happier at 15V than at 12V; I use a buck-boost converter to run my RST-135 at 15V).
