AM5 operation

Hi there, I'm looking to purchase the new AM5N with the TC40 tripod. My question is specific to non-ASIair operation. Can I operate the mount via ASCOM and the Carte du Ceil planetary software? Will the functionality remain such as the polar alignment, plate solving etc when using software such as SharpCap?

Al_Loan Hi，ASCOM and the Carte du Ceil can slew AM5 and AM5N. SharpCap can help you PA and plate solving(combined Astrometry.net).

As AM5 owner I can do that..
So, I suppose AM5N will do.

Thanks for the responses. I have had my new AM5N for a couple weeks now. I can confirm that you can control the mount via ASCOM / ASI plugin via Cartes du Ciel.
