Network cable direct from ASIAIR to tablet?

I'm trying to use a network cable to directly connect to and control my ASIAIr Plus, bypassing a router. Can it be done? I've purchased the USB C to ethernet cable to use with a Galaxy Android tablet. If possible, a step-by-step guide would be appreciated. Thank you.

nsolo I have done that many times. You need to make sure that the ASIAir and the tablet have an IP address in the same range. I usually use the same range as my WiFi network so I can connect the ASIAir to my home network via a cable and use the same IP address.

It should be possible considering you can do it with an iPad:

However it does depend on the capabilities of the Android Tablet you are using. What model Android Tablet are you using?
