Hello! The Seestar program lacks the ability to add objects from the atlas or manually to a personal watch list. It would be great to add a total exposure for each object in this list (or set default stacking time for all) so that the entire list can be triggered and the point-and-shoot process automated. Thus, for example, it would be possible to take a series of images of galaxies in order to patrol supernovae in them, or to photograph a series of sky areas with variable stars, asteroids or comets, making the instrument more universal and useful, including for citizen science.
In addition, such automation would make life much easier for Seestar owners, especially if they wanted to accumulate raw-images of one or more objects over several nights in a row (it would be cool to have a “resume/new” buttons when GoTo an object again).
I think this tool is very suitable for educational purposes, but this is what is missing - a customizable list of observations with the ability to control the total exposure for each object.
The next step is to add the ability to click on an star/object in the stack viewing/editing window and estimate its coordinates and magnitude.
