2600MC Pro - No more half speed fan option?

After updating both the software and firmware, I no longer see that option under the Advanced Camera Settings. Is that correct?

I have never had that option with my 2600mc pro.

V2.1.3 had it and it worked well. i also use the 2600mc pro. i recently "upgraded" to 2.2 and the half speed option was gone. with all the other bugs, i went back to 2.1.3 that i had saved on my tablet. i hope they get some version of 2.2 fixed as i was very interested in the BT control of my AM3 mount (that worked well, too bad about all the other bugs!)

@PMTeam@ZWO I have to bring up this thread again. As mentioned by @retman, the ASIAir V2.1.3 had the option to set the option for setting the fan of my ASI2600MC Pro to half speed and also to toggle the onboard LED of the camera on/off. Both options are missing ever since upgrading to a new version. Also the new V2.3 did not bring back those options. Any reasons why they were removed?

i agree, the half speed fan was a very nice option. i "upgraded" to 2.3 build 797 a few days ago and sadly the half speed feature is missing (or hidden where i can't find it!). in the middle of winter when the ambient temperature is 0C and the 2600MC Pro is set to -10C or -15C and the cooler working at 25% with the fan at half speed there isn't much reason to deal with the added vibration of the full speed mode. ZWO, does running the fan at half speed damage the camera??? (if not, please give this very nice feature back).....thanks

i can confirm that the half speed option was on 2.1.3 but for the 256 AIR model only. it is not available for the mini versions of the AIR. however, i don't hold much hope for the return of this feature given the lack of responses and the large number of seestar postings that will use up developer time...too bad, it was a nice feature

Only ASI2600 AIR and ASI2600Duo have Half Speed fan function, 2600mc pro is currently not fully supported, so we removed it.

Yeah well… it worked perfectly fine so… As far as stating ”not fully supported”, this really isn’t an answer that makes sense.

@Tech@ZWO It would be great if this function could be reconsidered at least for newer ASI2600MC Pro models as well. Maybe by manufacturing date/serial number? It was working great for mine which I bought last winter and would love to see this function back in ASIAIR. Thank you!
