ASI working perfectly with Firecapture 2.4b. Then got some malware in the laptop and had to reformat the drive with Windows 7. Then I re-installed FC 2.4b. FC can't find connected ZWO camera. Installed Sharpcap. In this case a video window appears that is solid black. So I pointed camera at the overhead light and got nothing.. Before I send back the camera for a warranty repair, is there anything I can use to confirm the camera does function.
Do you have ASI120 and system drivers installed? If it's not detected by FireCapture then either drivers are missing or there is other problem - which will be logged in FireCapture folder in the log file.
you can open "device manager" to check is the camera there or not
I think maybe a driver install problem
