Hi there. I thought it best to ask here before starting a new thread.
I've tried using my second ASIAIR plus with an ASI178MC as an all-sky camera recently. Is there a way to stitch all the individual images together into a time lapse video within the ASIAIR app? That would be my first feature request.
Method:
ASI178MC with the 2.5mm fisheye lens.
Hook up the 2nd ASIair plus and 178mc next to my imaging rig.
Autorun to take 500-600x 60second exposures with 0 gain.
I'm really happy with the results and it was simple enough to leave a second Android device running during the night. I was able to check the sky for clouds, and the position of the moon, along with any other stuff going on.
It'd be good if the app had a video mode for the whole process so that I could use the app to see current conditions and end up with a neatly sized video file at the end of the evening.
The cameras often come with a fisheye lens. Is there a recommendation for the best way to capture an allsky view with the camera using the Android app?
Thanks.
Ross.
