I've been using ASICAP to save images captured from my camera, with the .TIF saving settings and the raw data check box checked. The live display is in color, it's being read from the camera at 8 bits a channel, but when I capture a frame using the button on the sidebar, it's saved as a greyscale .png with a regular blocky pattern, so it's not even usable as a greyscale image. This format isn't able to be opened by the video stacker like .TIFs ought to be.
What gives? How do I get it to actually save a .TIF with multiple color channels?
