Filter question

Does the ASI120MC-S have an IR cut off filter embedded? I assumed not, since it's an option when purchasing on dev.s web shop. Just want to make sure before I buy a filter I end up not needing.

In general all color variants should have IR/UV cut protection glass (while mono - clear glass). You should be able to see some colors when looking at the cover glass from some angles.

Thanks for your swift reply. I've found out where the mixup is, on the non-USB3 variant, at the bottom of the page it says clear window for mono chrome, and IR cut for color http://zwoptical.com/Eng/Cameras/ASI120/index.asp

So I must assume the web page has got the two mixed up.

I have recently purchased an ASI120mm s via Telescope service Germany. I would like to know if there is an IR UV cut filter mounted. If not what is the filter do you recommend.

we use AR window for all our mono cameras and IR-CUT window for all our color camera

so you need RGBL filters for your mono camera
