Hi, I have a zwo174 mc camera and want to use it on my scope in place of the zwo294 which has ampglow, but there are no usb ports on the 174. I have an EAF that needs it talk to the main camera in order to achieve focus, where would I connect the EAF? I don’t have spare ports on the ASI air plus. Anyone advise please.

    denababy Firstly, what other equipment - mount, OTA, etc. - do you have? Did you put your camera and OTA (and any reducer/barlow you are using) details into this website - https://astronomy.tools/calculators/field_of_view/ (make sure it is set to imaging mode) - to make sure you have the minimum FOV required of 0.2° x 0.2°?

    Secondly, if yes, to expand your USB Ports you should get a reliable, externally powered (i.e. not via the power output of the ASIAIR but with its own power supply), USB 3.0 HUB. Look at products from UGREEN for example. Plug into power then plug it into one of the USB 3.0 ports on the ASIAIR and you should be good to go.
