ZWO replaced my camera, and I have not seen those corrupted half images on the replacement. However I still get the loading error, where the camera gets stuck and reports 'loading' during an auto-run and never loads the last image. I can get around it by hitting pause and then resuming, but this problem keeps me from running overnight.
I think this is a software bug that ZWO seems so far to be unable to fix. I have sent several logs when this has happened, but have heard nothing back from them.
I love the camera, and it's an excellent design. It guides well even with NB filters, but it has a problem at times downloading images to its own internal storage. It only takes one of those glitches to wreck an unattended session, and I think this bug needs to be found and fixed as a very high priority. That's because once the stuck on loading issue appears, the auto run process will stop, and the screen will just say 'loading' forever.
I usually run in Station Mode but thought that might be the problem but last night station mode was off and still got
the stuck on loading issue.
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with the problem, and it's almost certainly a software issue.
