Hi,

When doing all sky PA, I move all the knobs and Im getting close, but each time I refresh it I can see it’s drifting.
Question is should I disable tracking while doing PA?

My scope is 250mm redcat.

Note: there is potentially an issue with ASPA and drift: https://bbs.zwoastro.com/d/15513-polar-alignment-error-increasing-by-itself-at-somewhat-constant-rate/54

Just remember - before you do a Polar Alignment you should (since you are using the ASIIAR):

    1. Make sure you have a good enough focus

    2. In the ASIAIR App, go to Mount Settings > Go Home. Check it correctly returns the mount to the Home position.

    3. Now, tracking should be OFF on the mount after doing Step 3.

    4. Now go to Polar Alignment and start the Polar Alignment routine.

    5. Don't use auto-refresh. Refresh manually. Only tap Refresh about 5 seconds after you have made any change to any knobs. This gives time for the Mount to settle.

    6. Once done (you're aiming for Total Error of less than 00°01'00"). Tap Finish.

    7. Now go to Mount Settings > Go Home. Check it correctly returns the mount to the Home position.

    8. Go to Mount Settings > Sync Mount.

    9. Now use the Sky Atlas, find a bright star near you, Centre on it, then Go To. This should slew your mount, and turn on tracking now, so you're able to track the star.

    10. Refine your focus now manually with a bahtinov mask.

    11. Once done, go to Mount Settings > Go Home.

    12. Now you work configuring - if you have one - your EAF, configuring guiding, etc. before beginning your night.

I've fixed the home position by using the other ZWO app.

I still have issues with doing all sky PA, it keeps drifting and drifting after refreshing and not even doing anything.
