Battery icon changes

Tonight, for the first time, the S50 battery icon
on on my iPhone has changed to BLUE with a thermometer. Beside it is '100' in blue.
What is this to tell me?
Seestar too cold?
Battery too cold?
And what do I do about it??
I always have a powerbank connected when using my S50 so that its battery never runs down. Shouls I occasionally 'exercise' the battery by running it down to, say, 30% then recharge?

If I recall, that means that the battery is too cold to charge.
According to the specifications, the charging temperature range is 0-40°C.

Battery is too cold to charge. No worries, you can continue the session, your Seestar is operating from the outer power supply without charging the battery. You can also disconnect the power supply, Seestar will use the battery, however it will be dead in an hour or so.

Thank you for your replies. I did continue to use my S59, with no problems, until the clouds moved in.

The charge temperature of Seestar is 0-40 degrees, it will stop charge and disaplay a blue battery icon.

I've been seeing the blue battery icon this week, yet the temperature outside it well above 0°C. I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area where the coldest it's gotten is about 47°F/8.3°C. Little to no wind either. The blue battery icon first shows up around 8:00-9:00pm while the temperature is still in the mid-to-low 50s (12.7°C - 10°C). Regardless, the telescope continues to run off of the external battery that's connected so all remains okay. It's not often that I'll need to charge the telescope while it's still outside.
